AL HOCEINIA is the owner of several large farming estates in the regions of Agadir, Beni-Mellal, Marrakech, and Meknes –regions that are renowned for the fertility of their generous soils and the agricultural know-how of their populations. 50 years after their creation, the six farming estates now cover a total of 1000 hectares and account for more than 800 employees. They produce several varieties of citrus fruit, rosacea, and red berries.

As of 2002, AL HOCEINIA embarked on a process of quality enhancement and international certification. Today, all of the estates benefit from the EUREPGAP certification (which has been recently re-baptized as GLOBALG.A.P) and export their agricultural produce to Eastern and Western Europe and North America.

SATA

SATA is a civil agricultural company held by LAGHRARI Group. SATA owns a 268-hectare farming estate in the Beni-Mellal region, where different varieties of citrus fruit (small fruit, oranges, and rosacea) are grown and thereafter dispatched to the local market, as well as exported abroad, notably to Europe and North America. It should be noted that the estate benefits from the GLOBALG.A.P certification, which has established itself as an essential reference for good agricultural practices.

SMEA

SMEA is an agribusiness company catering for the domestic market as well as for export to Europe and North America. The company owns an estate covering 120 hectares of land which is wholly intended for the cultivation of small fruit and oranges in Beni-Mellal. SMEA holds the prized GlobalGap certification.

LAGHRARIA

LAGHRARIA is a civil agricultural company which owns a farming estate stretching over 20 hectares of land in the Agadir region. The estate specializes in the growing of high value-added crops, notably red berries and oranges destined for export to Europe. LAGHRARIA also hold the GlobalGap certification and expects to get the SMETA certification, too.

SOUEHLA

SOUEHLA, a civil agricultural company, is the proprietor of a farming estate covering 355 hectares of land in the Marrakech Region. It is noteworthy that the estate grows several varieties of citrus fruit, grapes, and olives. The SOUEHLA estate produces upwards of 3500 tons of citrus fruit intended for the local market as well as for export to Europe and North America.

ZBIRI

ZBIRI is a civil agricultural company which owns a 30-hectare farming estate in the Marrakech region. ZBIRI presents a large and varied offer, ranging from rosacea to pomegranate and grapes. The production is commercialized exclusively on the local market.

AVAO

A company with an agricultural calling, AVAO is the proprietor of a 100-hectare estate in the Meknes region. Presently in the process of development, the estate will host super-intensive plantation of almond trees, whose production will be processed and marketed abroad, notably in Europe and Asia.
